One of the doctrines of the Mormon church states that Mormon men, after they die, will inhabit their own planet and, along with their many wives, will produce numerous spiritual children. When this spiritual family becomes large enough, the father will be given the power to create another world (or earth) for those children, both male and female, and they will be sent to that earth in order to learn the difference between good and evil, learn and follow the teachings of the Mormon religion, and also produce children with "temporal" (or earthly) bodies in which the spiritual children from the father's previous world will enter (in the case of this earth, the number of spiritual children already exceeds many billions). These earthly children (males) must then follow the doctrines of the Mormon church so they also will become gods over their own planets when they die. It is through this progression that the Mormons teach how Adam was born on another planet and then came to this earth, which was created by his father, himself and his brothers. The following quotes from Mormon leaders confirm their belief in this teaching:

"We were begotten by our father in heaven; the person of our Father in Heaven was begotten on a previous heavenly world by His Father; and again, he was begotten by a still more ancient Father, and so on from generation to generation, from one heavenly world to another still more ancient..."
LDS Apostle Orson Pratt, The Seer, p. 132, 1853.

"...men, through obedience, attain to the fullness of all knowledge and become gods...they exist first as spirits, then as men clothed with mortal flesh, then as gods clothed with immortal tabernacles."
LDS Apostle Orson Pratt, The Seer, p. 130, 1853.

"There is something grand and sublime in the contemplation of our pre-existence. How wonderful and interesting it is for us to know, that the beings whom we call ourselves, that now dwell in these earthly tabernacles {bodies} -- existed thousands of years ago - - that ...we were engaged with our oldest brother {Jesus Christ}, the First Born, in organizing this world -- that we dwelt for ages in our Father's presence in a celestial or glorified world..."
LDS Apostle Orson Pratt, The Seer, p.20.

One of the major goals inherent in the doctrines of the Mormon church is to change what the Bible claims about the person and work of Jesus Christ. It is in the above quote that one of those changes is outlined. Since Mormons are on this earth and their "tabernacles" or bodies are inhabited by the spirit children of their "Heavenly Father" from another planet, the same condition is applied to Jesus Christ, since it is concluded that He was also from this earth. He is then considered a "brother" or an equal with humanity, a doctrine which is denied in the Bible. An equal has no authority over his peers and an equal has no ability to save others from their sins. This is the purpose of the Mormon teaching regarding the "brotherhood" of Jesus Christ; to strip Jesus Christ of His Lordship and His work as the Savior of mankind from their sins. Mormons then substitute their own works, which they claim gains them favor with their "Heavenly Father" and elevates them to the status of gods.

"There is a judge for the one who rejects Me and does not accept My words; that very word which I spoke will condemn him at the last day."
The Holy Bible, John 12:48 (NIV)

"After men...have become gods...they have the power then of propagating their species in spirit; and that is the first of their operations with regard to organizing a world. Power is then given to them to organize the elements, and then commence the organization of tabernacles. How can they do it? Have they to go to that earth? Yes, an Adam will have to go there, and he cannot do without Eve; he must have Eve to commence the work of generation, and they will go into the garden, and continue to eat and drink of the fruits of the corporeal world, until this grosser matter is diffused sufficiently through their celestial bodies to enable them, according to the established laws, to produce mortal tabernacles for their spiritual children."
LDS Prophet Brigham Young, Journal of Discourses, Vol. 6, p. 275, 1852.

"In the Heaven where our spirits were born, there are many gods, each one of whom has his own wife or wives which were given to him previous to his redemption, while yet in his mortal state. Each God, through his wife or wives, raises up a numerous family of sons and daughters; ...for each father and mother will be in a condition to multiply forever and ever. As soon as each god has begotten many millions of male and female spirits ...he, in connection with his sons, organizes a new world, ...where he sends both the male and female spirits to inhabit tabernacles of flesh and bones. Thus each God forms a world for the accommodation of his own sons and daughters... The inhabitants of each world are required to reverence, adore, and worship their own personal father who dwells in the heaven which they formerly inhabited."
LDS Apostle Orson Pratt, The Seer, p. 37.

"Mankind are here because they are the offspring of parents {Adam and Eve} who were first brought here from another planet, and power was given them to propagate their species."
LDS Prophet Brigham Young, Journal of Discourses, Vol. 7, p. 285, 1859.

"Our father Adam helped to make this earth, it was created expressly for him, and after it was made he and his companions came here. He brought one of his wives with him, and she was called Eve..."
LDS Prophet Brigham Young, Deseret News, June 18, 1873, p. 308, 1859.

"He {Adam} was the person who brought the animals and the seeds from other planets to this world... You may read and believe what you please as to what is found written in the bible. Adam was made from the dust of an earth, but not from the dust of this earth." LDS Prophet Brigham Young, Journal of Discourses, Vol. 3, p. 319, 1856.

"The Fullness of Truth, dwelling in an endless succession of past generations would produce an endless succession of personal Gods, each possessing equal wisdom, power, and glory with all the rest."
LDS Apostle Orson Pratt, The Seer, p. 132, 1853

There are many questions regarding this Mormon doctrine; probably the least of which is, why was it necessary to bring animals and seeds from another planet, and from what other planet were animals and seeds brought? If the father and his sons had the ability to create a new planet, why could they not have created the animals and seeds also? The answer is quite amazing and in complete contradiction to Biblical doctrine. Mormons do no believe that their gods have the ability to "create" out of nothing, but only the ability to "organize" from pre-existing matter. However, this presents Mormons with an even greater problem. Since all Mormon gods began as men, who created the first man, and who created the pre-existing matter? And who created the Mormon gospel that the first man was to follow?

The most difficult of the questions is, who is the Adam that is sent to earth? Was he the first-born son of his "Heavenly Father" or was he some other son chosen for this planet? The Mormons claim that Jesus Christ is the first-born of the "Heavenly Father". If that is the case, why was this world not made for him instead of his brother Adam?

According to Mormon belief, after Adam and one of his wives had been on the earth for a sufficient length of time, they became infused with the "temporal" or earthly nature of the planet and were capable of producing "tabernacles" or earthly children who were not spiritual children like themselves. For every "tabernacle" (human infant) that is born, the "Heavenly Father" sends one of his other spiritual children to inhabit the body of that human infant, be it male or female. These human children must then follow the beliefs of the Mormon church so they too can become gods, father spiritual children and create planets for them, in an endless progression. Those spirit children are the brothers and sisters of the couple who were sent to this earth and so the couple's earthy children, the bodies of whom the spirit children inhabit, must be the cousins of the spirit children who inhabit them. The earthly children are inhabited by the brothers and sisters of the parents of those earthly children. This is a most bizarre situation to say the least.

However, it might also be true that the spiritual "father", who is a god, does not procreate forever. At some time the production of spiritual children may end. At the point when all of the "Heavenly Father's" spiritual children have entered their "tabernacle", or human bodies, and have gone through the process of life to become good Mormons, then the earth will be destroyed and recreated again. However, it might be that the "Heavenly Father" again procreates with his wives another large group of children who are sent to a different planet. This might explain why the Mormons believe that there are many "mansions" (earths or worlds) in their father's house. But, at some point, the earth will be destroyed and recreated as is taught in the following quotes:

"...the earth itself will die, and its elements {will} be dissolved through the agency of a fire... the earth will again be renewed, its elements will again be collected, they will be recombined and reorganized... As the bodies of the righteous are made immortal, eternal, unchangeable, and glorious, so the earth itself will be so constructed as to be capable of everlasting endurance... It will be crowned with the presence of God the Father, and shine forth in all the splendors of celestial glory. But who will be its inhabitants? Those who have passed through the same process of purification, and none else... no beings can inhabit it but those who are sanctified by the same ordinances and law."
LDS Apostle Orson Pratt, Journal of Discourses, Vol. 1, pp. 331 - 332.

"This will be the final transformation of this earth, and when that is effected it will become one of the mansions of our father... our globe will become the abiding place of all the saints from the days of Father Adam until ...it passes away and is renewed again and becomes glorified..."
LDS Apostle Orson Pratt, Journal of Discourses, Vol. 14, p. 236.

This teaching is the major and fatal flaw in Mormon doctrine. If the earth is recreated to an eternal state and all the children of the "Heavenly Father" live on this new earth, how then can those male children of that "Heavenly Father" attain to godhood and rule over their own planets. Mormon doctrine states that each male Mormon will become a god, and father other male children who will then become gods, in endless succession. None of these individuals can, after they have become gods themselves, be under the control of their father and live on the glorified earth. They must have their own glorified earth to live on. By logical deduction of facts, the only people to live on a glorified earth would be the god and his wives; all of their spiritual children would be gods of their own glorified planets or wives of those gods. Plot the progression and see for yourself. As the logical result of Mormon teaching, a Mormon god cannot be under the authority of, or live on the same planet as his former "Heavenly Father". The Mormon church teaches a physical and spiritual impossibility.

However, apparently not all Mormons are "good" Mormons, and not all Mormons will attain to godhood. As a result there will be many in the celestial kingdom who will still be under the authority of their "Heavenly Father". Those in the Terrestrial Kingdom will include all Black persons, who are considered inferior and cannot attain to godhood, and other inferior groups of people, including Native Americans, who have not become "white and delightsome". The group will also include male and female Mormons who have never married, because marriage in the Mormon temple is a requirement to obtain godhood. Also, according to Mormon doctrine, those who have not practiced polygamy will not attain to godhood, but will, in fact, be damned. Others will include those who have accepted Mormon teaching in the next world after their death. Those in the Telestial Kingdom will include Satan and his angels (brothers and sisters who rebelled) and other people who rejected Mormon teaching in this world and in their temporary sojourn in hell after their resurrection in the next world.

So, the Mormon "Heavenly Father" will be assured, in reality, of a large group of subjects for eternity. These subjects will come, not only from this earth, but also from the countless other "earths" that he has organized, and will organize, for ever and ever.
